Type II Safety Cans - OSHA and FM Approved - Red, Yellow, Blue and Green

Eagle safety cans are known in the market for their sophisticated technology and superior quality. Our type II safety gas cans help control vapors to prevent the risk of fire when storing flammable chemicals.

Type II safety cans have one opening for filling and a second one for pouring. The safety cans feature a 24-gauge hot-dip galvanized steel construction with a baked-on powder coat finish for corrosion resistance and double-interlock, no-weld bottom seam. The cans come with a flexible 12” metal spout that helps reduce the danger of explosion while dispensing flammable liquids. The safety gas cans also feature non-sparking flame arrestors in the filler opening and pour spout. The cans are available in red, yellow, blue, and green. Our safety cans are FM, UL and ULC approved and meet OSHA 29 CFR 1910.106, 1926.152, and NFPA Code 30 compliant.

Whether you need a 5 gallon safety gas can in red, blue kerosene, green oil or yellow diesel type 2 can, Eagle has a solution for you.

Why is there a brass fitting on the end of the safety can hose?
The ferrule on the end of the flexible hose is made from brass, a non-sparking material. The metal hose and brass fitting help maintain electrical continuity between containers, supporting proper bonding during dispensing and reducing static-related ignition risks.
